2nd Year Birthday
My Kansas flatland pirates!! Hoist your glasses for a team drink and join us in saying how important and wonderful each and every one of you are. We are so very glad to have met you and are so thankful that this crazy phamily of ours exists.
As we look back on the year, we've had some great times. Quite a few of us went on the Atlanta Parrot Head cruise. What a great adventure!. We also dared the high seas to phloat with COPA and OZMPH clubs. We cranked up the Margaritaville blenders to host our first MDA dance. Members worked the RiverFest and netted $1400 for our favorite charities. We've participated in a walk or two (didn't even blow out a flipflop). A wonderful milestone for the club was when we helped sponsor the fund raiser for Tucker and our name was actually printed on the tees!!
This year also brought sadness, as we lost one of our charter members, Michael McCullough. You are missed each time we attend a function without you. There was ne'er a better pirate and phriend!! Sail on brother, sail on.
As our second year draws to a close, we've made fond memories (and gathered potential blackmail material)! Each of you has brought your own special personality(s) and like all phamilies we've developed some "traditions" and even a few island names. We want to thank you for hosting the house parties (they've been a blast) and attending the events making them such phun.
